Your windshield is an essential element of your car that protects you from rain, bugs, wind, and dust. It may have also taken a hit for you at some point, leaving a crack in the windshield that needs to be repaired.
Depending on your situation, windshield repair or windshield replacement is necessary to keep you safe as you drive. Traveling with broken or cracked glass is not only inconvenient but also presents a hazard to you and other drivers.
Don’t wait to bring your car in if your windshield is chipped. Once the glass is chipped or cracked, the structural integrity of your glass is compromised.
Rock chips are easy to repair and less expensive, as well. Chips in your windshield can easily be filled with water, dirt, and lead to expansive cracks. By immediately repairing damage to your car window, you’ll prevent more expensive repairs down the road.
If your windshield has extensive damage, it’s important not to drive your car and get your windshield replaced as soon as possible.
